Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy (this "Policy") describes how IAB Privacy, Inc. ("IAB Privacy," "we," "us," or "our") may collect, use, disclose, transfer, or otherwise process information from or about signatories to the Limited Service Provider Agreement (the "Agreement") for the purpose of administering and enforcing the Agreement.

By voluntarily providing any information on this registration page or otherwise manifesting your assent to this Policy, you are agreeing to the terms of this Policy.

CHANGES TO THE POLICY

This Policy is effective as of the "Last Updated" date stated at the top of this Policy. We may change this Policy from time to time, with or without notice to you. By providing us with information after we make any such changes to this Policy, you are deemed to have accepted such changes. Please be aware that, to the extent permitted by applicable law, and without prejudice to the foregoing, our use of information is governed by the Policy in current effect. Please refer back to this Policy on a regular basis.

THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND HOW WE USE IT

IAB Privacy collects or receives contact information from the person signing on behalf of a signatory to the Agreement. Contact information includes names, e-mail addresses, business addresses, titles, and any similar information you provide to us. We use such contact information to administer and enforce the Agreement.

To sign the Agreement, edit your Agreement registration information, or download or otherwise access the Agreement “Signatory Identification List,” you must create an “IAB Tech Lab Tools Portal” account and then access the “MSPA” section therein. Please see this link: https://tools.iabtechlab.com/mspa (the “MSPA Portal”). Note that the MSPA Portal is hosted and administered by the IAB Technology Laboratory on our behalf.

HOW AND WITH WHOM WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

We may disclose the information you provide to: Interactive Advertising Bureau, Inc.; IAB Technology Laboratory, Inc.; our subsidiaries, affiliates, joint ventures, or other companies under common control; and other signatories to the Agreement and their auditors.

Service Providers

We may disclose information you provide to certain third-party companies that provide services on our behalf, but only to the extent needed to enable them to perform such services. The types of such third-party companies that we may use include: hosting services, technical assistance providers, database management/back-up services, and auditing/compliance services.

Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, dissolution, reorganization, or similar corporate event, or the sale of all or substantially all of our assets, we expect that the information that we have collected, including personal information, would be transferred to the surviving entity in a merger or the acquiring entity. All such transfers shall be subject to our commitments with respect to the privacy and confidentiality of such information as set forth in this Policy. This Policy shall be binding upon IAB Privacy’s legal successors-in-interest.

Required by Applicable Law

We may disclose your information when required by applicable law in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including for the purpose of administering and enforcing the Agreement. We may also disclose your information to other third parties when compelled to do so by government authorities or required by applicable law or regulation, including, but not limited to, in response to court orders and subpoenas.

HOW WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION

We take commercially reasonable measures to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction, taking into account the risks involved in processing and the nature of such information. However, we cannot guarantee the security of our databases or the databases of the third parties with which we may share your information (as permitted herein), nor can we guarantee that the information you supply will not be intercepted while being transmitted over the Internet. For example, e-mail correspondences may not be completely secure, and you should therefore take special care in deciding what information you send to us via e-mail.
